We have a vacancy for a Contract Manager, Devon

Location: Devon area, home based, with travel throughout the region

Salary: c£26-£28,000 per annum (pro-rata)

Hours: 22.5 hours per week (flexible work pattern)

We are currently seeking a Contract Manager to manage the delivery of our services in the Devon area.  

As Contract Manager, you will be responsible for project managing and supporting the delivery of self-management training programmes in accordance with contractual specifications throughout the region.

In addition, you will be managing, recruiting, training and supervising your team of volunteers and sessional tutors to enable the high quality and cost effective delivery of our self-management initiatives.

You will also be responsible for preparing performance monitoring and evaluation reports for the organisation and commissioners.

To succeed as a Contract Manager you will need excellent project management skills and experience, along with the ability to prepare performance monitoring and evaluation reports along with the ability to build excellent working relationships with key stakeholders, tutors and internal staff.

In addition, you will need an empathetic attitude to the experience of living with a long term condition preferably with experience of working with adults or young people in a health care environment.

As a champion of best practice in the recruitment, management and development of volunteers and sessional tutors you must be able to support, develop and monitor their performance.

Your excellent IT skills should include the full suite of Microsoft office packages, databases and internet applications and you should be able to attain and retain our tutor training accreditation.

The role is home based but will require travel throughout the Devon area. You must therefore be a car owner with a full driving licence.
